Yesterday in Pictures

The home made cake before it started melting seriously. Elprada came in carrying this and I thought it looked like it could possibly have been baked by her.
Styrofoam + whipped cream ---> CAKE!

My first attempt to cut the cake. I was the only one who thought the cake was real.


The knife couldn't go through! First attempt failed.

Never give up, even when things are looking hopeless. Elfreda checks if her cake was too overcooked.



There was finally a breakthrough. But the rest of the journey had to be completed using bare hands. Prying at the cake. It had an unusual feel. Not that I ever cut a real cake like this before...



Further inspections to the cake. I was told there might have been a bomb inside.



Trying to force open the cake. The whip cream starts to slide off the top of the cake. Poor table...

Err.. I don't know how to describe this. A happy moment?



The real cake. The middle is supposed to be "Ah Lynn, Happy 16" but it got quite molten from the heat.

Trying to blow the candles



Still trying to blow, but no progress made.

I think I contracted Jie Ying's laughing disorder for a while, but I'm fine now, really. As you can see, no one really wanted to help me blow because they all knew they were relighting candles. And I thought I was the special person who couldn't blow out candles for nuts. In this photo, 6 down, 10 to go. I was still living by my motto.
A mass burial for the candles. When you see this, please observe a minute of silence for the candles who fought hard against my blowing.
The wrapper is nice, right? I was ripping it open very carefully, at lynn speed.
PHYSICS yay! Jie Ying, come and study Physics with me before O levels. I bet this will help. You can also ask Evangeline to use it as her peer tutoring material.

Once again, thanks for the wonderful surprise. (Sorry I'm being naggy.. Maybe it's because I'm getting older)
I'm going to stay awake till midnight to count down to tomorrow. Meanwhile, there's a movie marathon going on at home. It sounded like a battle field outside while I was doing violin practice. Even the floor was vibrating a bit.
